Let's Review: Beautycounter's Flawless in Five

Being a professional makeup artist, it comes as no surprise that I love creating dramatic and colorful makeup looks. However, I also love a natural, clean, fresh face that one could apply every day. That being said, I have become a huge fan of Beautycounter's Flawless in Five makeup set. It includes amazing products that are great for those of you who prefer a more simple look that you can achieve in only five minutes!
The Flawless in Five includes five customizable makeup products for $130. This is a great deal because if you were to purchase these products individually, you'd be paying $163. Considering the quality of these products, as well as knowing that they all contain safe ingredients, $130 is an amazing price for five full sized items!
So what is included in the Flawless in Five collection?
4. Beyond Gloss
Let's Review the Flawless in Five Routine:
Skin Twin Featherweight Foundation - People always ask me what I'm wearing when I have this on, so naturally it has become one of my new favorites! It has a smooth finish that doesn't feel heavy on the skin. The coverage is medium, but it is buildable which is perfect for covering redness and acne scars. Since it contains hyaluronic acid, this product helps smooth & even out your skin while you wear it, all while minimizing fine lines! The hyaluronic acid hydrates the skin, making this a good choice for those of you with dry skin. If you have oily skin like myself, throwing a powder overtop works perfectly! With 18 shades to choose from I find Light 230 matches my skin best.
Dew Skin Tinted Moisturizer - I am a full-coverage type of girl, so I only use tinted moisturizer on the days where my skin is behaving. If I am breakout-free, and have little redness that day, this is the product I reach for, as it of course has minimal coverage considering it is a tinted moisturizer. I love this product during the warmer weather, as I tend to go for a more natural look during that time. There is also SPF 20 in this which is perfect considering we should be wearing SPF every single day! There are six shades to choose from and I wear shade Light (previously No. 2).
Brilliant Brow Gel - This brow gel has A LOT of pigment in it so it nicely defines my brows while using minimal product! As someone with thick eyebrows, I can confidently say I never worry about my brows throughout the day, as this product keeps them in place all day long. I use this in the shade Dark, and there are five shades available.
Color Define Brow Pencil - Unfortunately this is one of Beautycounter's products I have yet to try; however, I wanted to include it on this list as it is a part of the Flawless in Five routine. This brow pencil comes in three shades, and I plan on purchasing Dark in my next order from Beautycounter, so keep an eye out on my instagram to see how I feel about it!
Think Big All-In-One Mascara - I am obsessed with this mascara. It makes my lashes incredibly long-to the point where they almost touch my eyebrows. This is one of the best wands I have ever seen in a mascara. Being on the skinny side, it lifts and lengthens each individual lash while ensuring there are no clumps. My only complaint is that sometimes after a long day I notice a little transfer on my eyelids, but this isn't uncommon in mascaras that are not waterproof, so I'm willing to look past it as this truly is a favorite of mine. Usually I can avoid this issue by placing powder on my eyelids so they don't become oily. Something else I'd like to mention is that this mascara only comes in black, which I am completely okay with; however, I know my blondes out there may feel differently!
Beyond Gloss - This gloss comes in 14 different shades, and the shade Peony (pictured in the gallery below) might be my favorite Beautycounter product of all! This gloss has just the right amount of pigment to it. Its not too bright or too sheer. Considering that it has a high shine to it, I do not find it to be sticky at all. It also smells INCREDIBLE!
Cheeky Clean Cream Blush - Let me start by saying that as someone with oily skin, I NEVER expected to rave about a cream blush. Then this product came out, and well...I'm impressed. This blush is dewy, but not to the point where I feel greasy, or as if it is sliding off of my skin. It is long-wear and moisturizing. You can even build this product up for a more dramatic look if you'd like. The best part? This product can also be used on the eyes and lips! Eyeshadow, blush, and a lip tint all in one product! Can it get better than that?!
